In 2007, a group of local and
VERY PASSIONATE volunteers created
The Friends of Ephraim-Gibraltar Airport.
The Friends is a 501-C3 non-profit organization that actively supports the Airport and the enhancement of local general avaition in many different ways ranging from providing sponsorships/scholarships for local high school students wishing to pursue aviation-related careers, providing bikes and courtesy transportation for visiting pilots, assisting with airport improvement and maintenance
and MUCH, MUCH more!
The Friends of Ephraim-Gibraltar Airport supports the preservation, enhancement and maintenance of the airport and is committed to the advancement of general aviation in northern Door County through education, sponsorships and scholarships.
